Tenant Terms

You may save homes and request viewings. We strongly recommend that you view a property in person before applying or paying.

Applications must contain true information. You may hold only one active application per property. Applying does not guarantee approval; the landlord decides.

Pay only through the payment options shown in your Rentwell dashboard after your application is approved. Check the itemised breakdown and total before paying. Rentwell will never ask you to pay into a personal account through phone calls, WhatsApp or social media.

A rental is recorded only after Rentwell confirms your bank transfer or Paystack verifies your card payment.

Your tenancy is with the landlord. The tenancy agreement, house rules and your rights and duties as a tenant are governed by that agreement and Nigerian law.

If a property differs materially from its listing, or someone asks for money outside Rentwell, report it through your dashboard or contact us as soon as possible.
